Ocean View Ishigaki Sora and Umi

Gorgeous facilities, very spacious, everything well thought out and well appointed. There is a ton of attention to detail (each bedroom had its own hairdryer, for example), which made staging there extremely comfortable! All the appliances in the house were also a huge plus (washer/dryer, the many appliances in the kitchen). The shower and bath were lovely, the beds were very comfortable, and we have no complaints! The property itself is quite special. We loved the pool/patio, the second floor deck and dining area, and the rooftop all equally. The short path down to the beach was also so convenient, and my son loved going down to the private beach to explore. Great area for kayaking and snorkeling. the overall location of the house was also choice- just 20-25 min from the airport, very close to Kabira and Yonehara. The host was also excellent and so friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again.

The villa was ideal for us to spend a few quiet days away from the crowds on a remote island off Japan. Chris the host was great, drove us to get supplies, to the airport and was really knowledgeable about Ishigaki and responsive. The villa sits with 180 uninterrupted views of the ocean which is right in front of the property if you want to swim, canoe or snorkel. Our choice was to read, sleep, cook and enjoy the last of our holiday before heading home.

Beautiful view in amazing location. Short walk down to the best beach for snorkeling and exploring tide pools. Furnished with great teste and spotlessly clean. The host was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
